When Competitors becomes Partners

It was not so long ago that webdesigners were popping up everywhere like popcorn in a microwave.

Joey's nieces nephew who is in third grade also got on the bandwagon just because his aunt thought him pretty impressive with his xbox ....

Needless to say serious designers faced a new problem not to mention the poor customer who faced an even worse conundrum. How to sort the actual designers from the fly-by-night-joey's?

We all know that a business in today's time HAS TO HAVE a website. If they don't their competition surely does. We also know that it has to be taken one step further, not only do they need a website, but today's business need a PROFESSIONAL looking website.

Have you ever wondered why big companies' websites makes you think their budget was just big enough to afford Joey and then Mr Startup's company website look as if it could compete with Microsoft any day...

Lack of importance or rather lack of involvement from top management in large companies are the culprit. Company politics a big second in line and ofcourse don't forget vague and unclear specs. Today's Website Geeks are interested in quality, professional yet technical stable work. We want to give a customer a website that not only reflect on our own professionalism as designers, but also create the environment for future referrals, hence ending up in probable sales.

No wonder that in the end Website Geeks or Geeks from all different spectrums started to form alliances and partnerships with each other instead of seeing each other as competition. Seeking out strengths in each other and therefore complementing and offering more services.
